Samsung Galaxy Folding Phone Gets Certified By TENAA – At the Unpacked event of Samsung back in February, Samsung Galaxy Fold was announced. It is the company’s first foldable device that has a flexible display. The handset was recently certified at TENAA. We know most of the device’s key specs as announced at the event. The TENAA certification, however, confirmed that Galaxy Fold will soon be available in China as well.

There are two displays featuring the Galaxy Fold phone. On the outside, there will be a 4.6-inch 840x 1960 screen and on the inside, when unfolded, a flexible 7.3-inch 1536x 2152 display. The handset is powered by an 855 processor from Snapdragon. It will also be combined with RAM 12 GB and UFS 3.0 storage 512 GB.

Besides all that, it will run out of the box Android 9 Pie. The upcoming Galaxy Fold is going to pack a battery of 4380mAh with fast charging support. It will also have a USB type – C port at the bottom, but no audio jack will be available. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner will also be sported.

There will be two cameras above the handset’s flexible display with a 10MP f/2.2 sensor as well as an 8MP f/1.9 selfies sensor. However, a 12MP telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.4 aperture combined with a 12MP wide-angle camera with a variable aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) will be included in the triple rear camera setup.

The third sensor with an f/2.2 aperture will be a 16MP ultra – wide angle camera. Also, when folded, it will have a 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera above the smaller display.

The price of Galaxy Fold will be $ 1980. The device will be available in some markets for purchase on April 26. There are no words yet about the device’s colour and RAM variants, however.
