Apple releases iOS 13.1: You need to try out the top 5 features

Here’s a list of 5 top features that iOS 13.1 rolls out to its users:

1. iPadOS 13.1 is here

The tablet-specific version of iOS includes a bunch of multitasking features as well as an enhanced Safari browsing experience. Apple also provides users with the flexibility to experiment with and add new features to its tablet lineup without affecting their iPhone experience.

2. Sharable ETA in Maps

Users now have the option to use Apple Maps to navigate a place and also share with contact the estimated time of arrival. Apple Maps will automatically send a message to the contact in case of an unforeseen delay during the journey, letting them know you are running late.

By pulling the menu from the bottom of the screen, then choosing Share ETA and choosing a contact, you can share your ETA in Apple Maps while navigating.

3. Experience Karaoke machine using Apple Music

The favourite app for Apple Music now also has a view of the lyrics. In a karaoke-like stream, the app will display lyrics instead of a simple screen showing lyrics. Just press the new lyrics button to start the new lyrics screen and try to sing along with your best.

4. Audio Sharing with your AirPods, Beats

You can also temporarily combine two AirPods pairs with your iPhone to share the audio from an album or movie that you are watching with the Audio Sharing feature of iOS 13.

5. Shortcuts app improved

The Shortcuts app gets smarter with the iOS 13.1 update. Creating a shortcut has become simpler, like a morning routine, thanks to suggested automation to create shortcuts for specific tasks.

It is also possible to automate shortcuts using triggers such as a specific time of day to run. Besides these features, iOS 13.1 also features an updated Reminders app and a new way to delete apps on your iPhone and iPads.
